Sanding roller is composed of abrasive sheets, sheets and non-woven fabric, exclusively made of non-woven material, polyurethane, and is used in a variety of sanding, polishing, matting, and structuring operations. Such rollers are used in sanding machines. Perfect for sanding the edges of a wide profile. Some rollers can also produce the required profile. The rollers can be used for sanding both metal, hardboard and solid wood. Polyurethane rollers are most suitable for sealing the pores of MDF panels.

The rollers are usually made of a composite material consisting of abrasive grains and a binder, forming a solid circular shape. Different diameters and widths are available, depending on the intended use of the roller. The production of rollers is a carefully supervised process. The product must remain homogeneous and balanced, so as not to crumble at high revolutions.

The durability of sanding rollers largely depends on the method of its use. Wear will be slower without exceeding the specified limit of revolutions and without squeezing the roller.

Difference of pulleys from rollers – the stalk. The pulley is composed of abrasive sheets, sheets and non-woven material, felt alone, and is used in various sanding, polishing, matting and structuring operations. Pulleys are placed in overhead or electrified linear sanders. Pulleys are most often used for processing various internal, external bends (radiuses) in the metal industry. Threads from wool slips are used with polishing paste to obtain a glossy surface.

The pulleys are usually made of a composite material consisting of abrasive grains and a binder, forming a solid circular shape and having a 3 mm or 6 mm diameter stalk. Different diameters and widths are available, depending on the intended use of the pulley. For optimum use, it is recommended that the maximum speed specified by the manufacturer be maintained.
